December Pack Meeting was Packed with Fun!

The December Pack Meeting started with an obstacle course, songs, and skits, then we awarded advancement patches, pins, belt loops, and Popcorn-selling prizes that the Scouts earned. A big thanks to all the Scouts who participated in the popcorn selling — those sales provide the majority of our budget for each year’s activities.
Camp Carpenter’s 2019 Aquatics director, Britney, came to our meeting and enthusiastically described the fun Scouts can have at NH’s summer camp for Cub Scouts. We want every Cub to have the opportunity to go to Summer Camp, including the boys crossing to the Troop, so please email the Pack about camperships if you need one for your Scout to attend. The Cubmaster torch was passed to Joel King by Bill McGonigle for 2019, and then a special guest arrived to hand out the the Pinewood Derby kits!
Christmas Break is a perfect time to start working on an awesome car design. The Pinewood Derby will be held at the Blue & Gold dinner, to be held February 9. Subscribe to our Pack calendar on your phone to be reminded as the date approaches.
