Blue & Gold Banquet and Pinewood Derby

Pack 279 Scouts, Scouters, families and special guests gathered for food, fellowship, recognition and Scout spirit in celebration of the Scouting anniversary at our Blue & Gold Banquet and Pinewood Derby. This was an evening to thank leaders and those who have helped the Pack, and inspire Scouts, and families. After enjoying a delicious potluck meal, everyone headed to the race start line! The Scouts did their best to build and design their Pinewood derby cars, and the race was exciting for all. With lights strobing and music pumping, the race was an event to remember. Thank you Jack Hebert for DJ-ing! The evening ended with four Arrow of Light Scouts crossing over to Troop 279, and Scoutmaster Jere Rousseau leading us in some traditional Scout songs. Congratulations to all!
